Music preferences are now effectively turned off for any variation of deafness except for Hearing Aids those with Hearing Aids get unique text in their corresponding buffs, plus an extra +1 Happiness point for music likes! This traits has been updated to take Likes and Dislikes into account.I deeply apologize this thing isn't as polished as it should be If anyone has any ideas as to what in the Watcher's name I'm doing wrong here, advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I thought I'd found a method earlier in the week, but during testing that out a lot of things started going wrong everywhere. Unfortunately, I'm also still struggling with fixing the bug of you having to select the accommodations twice to get them to stick.Two minor tweaks, in addition: the text for the SSL description has been changed, and a replacement buff for Noisy Neighbours has been added.

The battery component has not, nor has it been added for hearing aids I attempted to make it work but I'm genuinely struggling with the current knowledge and resources I've got. They've been added in the respect that the framework is there. First and foremost, cochlear implants have been added!.

Speaking of hearing aids and implants.

You can only buy one accommodation for each Sim, so choose wisely! From least to most expensive they go Lip Reading, SSL, Hearing Aids, and Cochlear Implants. The accommodations have been converted into reward traits of their own, that are only purchasable with the Deaf trait already bought.

From now on, the base trait of Deaf is free.The structure of the trait has been rebuilt from the ground up in order to fix the accommodations issue! (Literally if you already have the trait present in the save, you will need to buy it for the affected Sim again.) And by fix, I mean workaround.
